Martha Tominaga

Nasceu em 1933 - Lomas de Zamora / Província de Buenos Aires

Desde a sua infância que se sente absorvida pelo mundo das artes, tendo começado muito cedo a desenhar e a fazer flores coloridas. Posteriormente realizou cursos de técnica de trabalhar e moldar em papel e estudou diversas actividades artísticas como, cerâmica, papel maché, resina, modelagem em cera e artesanato japonês.

O tema favorito das suas obras é as Arcas. A artista afirma conseguir desenvolver nelas tudo o que imagina. São trabalhos realizados com muito detalhe, talento e paciência.

Desde 1994 tem participado em inúmeras exposições no seu País, bem como no México, Itália e Israel.
Recebeu diversos prémios e menções honrosas sendo de sublinhar em 1999 o 1º Prémio e a 2ª Menção na Competição de Pintores Naïfs, na Encuentrarte Gallery, Buenos Aires; em 2004 o 1º Prémio do Esteban Echeverria Salon, San Fernando, Argentina e em 2005 o 1º Premio no Concurso “Sansón y Dalila” na Gina Gallery, Tel Aviv, Israel.

Martha Tominaga é membro do Museu Austral de Primitivos de Esquel em Chubut, Argentina e foi seleccionada pela LALCEC, Fundación Huésped y Hospital de Clínicas para realizar os seus cartões de Natal e Fim de Ano.
